John & Mimi’s Fall 2011 Dance Schedule 

Thursdays—8 Week Class:  September 8, 15, 22, 29 and October 6, 13,  20,  27

CHA-CHA:  6:30 to 7:30 p.m.  This dance has wide application because cha-cha music is popular in all music genres including country, funk, and hip-hop. Popular mainstream artists are putting out great cha-cha music. This is a party dance! Cha-Cha music should produce a happy, carefree, party-like dance expression.

WALTZ:  7:30 to 8:30 p.m.  Everyone loves to waltz!  American style waltz is a smooth dance characterized by long, flowing movements, continuous turns, and rise & fall. Graceful and elegant, waltz dancers glide around the floor almost effortlessly.   You will learn lavish open movements, underarm turns, and solo spins.

Cost:

Cha Cha                                      $98 per semester (new couples) or $60 per semester (returning couples)

Waltz                                           $98 per semester (new couples) or $60 per semester (returning couples)

Combo Cha Cha /Waltz     $108 per semester (new couples) or $70 per semester (returning couples)
